I recently moved to New York from London. My whole experience with DSA was excellent.
Mine was not the easiest move to facilitate. Having no credit history or a clear idea about what to expect from an apartment in Manhattan meant that I needed someone who was capable of finding me a place to live that I liked, but also understood the nuances of each landlord and their qualification requirements. Adam Jake Steinberg did a terrific job.
Working with Adam was easy. Other brokers seemed to lack the very basic things I expect in a business transaction - punctuality, timely communication and focus seem to be rare qualities to find in a broker today, whereas Adam exhibited an efficiency and personable manner which made it a pleasure to work with him.
We saw many apartments, in a few different areas before finding what i was looking for. DSA had some great listings which meant i could focus my thoughts more on the characteristics of the neighborhood rather than worrying about the quality of the apartments themselves.
DSA's relationship with my landlord meant the qualification process was easy, even in my more difficult circumstances, and the whole process of signing the lease seemed transparent. I would happily recommend working with Adam and DSA.
